The San Francisco's Rough Guide recommends Le Zinc's " Boeuf Bourguignon" described as "impeccably authentic and almost shockingly flavorful; the beef melts off your fork and the splendid sauce is straight out of Beaune."

The Citysearch Bay Area Guide's editorial review awards Le Zinc 8 points and finds "artfully presented and creatively accented, the mid-priced French fare is a good value."
